Quick DIY dryer sheets

Here is what you'll need:

*sponge
*spray bottle
*essential oil(s) of choice, (citrus scents are always good)
*distilled water
*cut up used fabric
*container with lid, or large zip-lock bag

Fill your spray bottle with distilled water, add your 5-10 drops of essential oil(s), and shake.
Spritz the sponge until it's slightly damp. Throw into the dryer!
Another cool way to just have some dryer sheets on hand, is use your cut up fabric pieces (make sure the fabric you use for the sheets does not bleed the dyes), place and stack them in the container or zip lock bag, pour your essential water solution on them, seal bag or container and shake! You may want to ring out fabric sheets if they are to damp before use. The best thing about these dryers sheets, is that you can re wash, both fabric pieces and sponge, and repeat the steps and reuse! Frugally green ever after!

*Make sure to always read laundry care directions.

Organic Dry-Hair Repair

Homemade Organic Rose Oil

This is a very easy and inexpensive mixure to create!
You'll need these items:

*Container, or jar with lid
*Spoon for mixing
*2 ounces of Organic Coconut Oil
*5 drops each of: Rose, Rosemary, and Lavender Essential Oils
*Grapefruit Seed Extract
1)Combine the Coconut oil into the bowl or container, and add the Rose essential oil,  and mix thoroughly.
2)Now add the Rosemary, mix, and follow by using the Lavender oil, and Grapefruit Seed Extract. Mix all together well.
3)Apply a small amount to the ends of wet hair and let it air dry, and remember a little goes a long way! Once dried, style as usual. Repeat daily for a week, longer if needed, until you have desired results.
Shelf life is 3 months.

Both Rosemary and Lavender oils dilate blood vessels, stimulating hair follicles, aiding in producing new hair growth.  Rose also helps in promoting hair growth, and has proven hydrating properties.

Don't be shy to use this as a face or body moisturizer too!

DIY Natural Hair dyes and lighteners

Natural  sun ray highlights~

Lemon,
Sunshine,

Chamomile Tea,
 clean empty spray bottle,
grapefruit seed extract.

Combine  1 cup organic lemon juice and 3 cups Chamomile tea, a few drops of grapefruit seed extract, and pour into a clean spray bottle. Spritz the solution onto the hair and massage it into your hair.
Go out and get some yard work done, lay out, or even as you walk or jog, the sun ray's will help in the lightening process. Do this a few times a week for maximum results. The shelf life of this solution is a week. I always like to add a natural preservative like Grapefruit Seed Extract to everything homemade that I know I'll use more than once.

A Little Red...

Sugary Lip Scrubby

container
1 teaspoon either (olive, sweet almond, grapeseed oil)
1/4 teaspoon

Mix together 1 teaspoon oil  of your choosing, and 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar in a container.  Apply to lips, gently scrubbing in a circular motion.  Rinse off with warm water. If you have any leftover, this works great for a hand scrub as well! Same instructions, just wash with soap and warm water.
